| Short Synopsis: | BOYS CLUB is a social portrait of a fragment of male sex workers, selling their services to male mostly elderly clients on the streets. We are not trying to create a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist. But to tell a story subjectively and like every life. Within a community, hardship & purpose. These sex workers often don’t understand themselves as homosexuals. Since they are the active part in the sex-act. They never receive only give. A lot of these sexworkers have a wife and a family back home, and are only practicing this profession cause they can make a substantial amount of money, in a short period of time. The duality of a heterosexual man, within a functioning relationship to cross their sexual boundaries, in order to make ends meet shows the human drive for improvemnet of ones situation. These sex workers put them selves in extremely uncomfortable and traumatic positions in order to make a living, but it’s better than making no living. prostitues understand them selves as macho-man and provider. |
