Renowned directors Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott with Marcel Rév, commissioned a colour grade to illuminate their homage to Stanley Kurbrick’s iconic work for Gucci’s 2022 fall campaign, entitled Gucci Exquisite. Creative director Alessandro Michele celebrated the connection between fashion and cinema by studying and replicating cinematic moments from 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut and Barry Lyndon to tell the story of the brand’s new collection. The campaign needed a specific grade to enhance the cinematic feel and recreate Kubrock’s signature look. |
