in this unusual car commercial, we see the new EQS falling from the sky, gently floating above the ground before it finally lands on Earth. It doesn’t drive an inch. The music gives rhythm to the movements with its 6/4 time signature groove, supporting the shiny, heavenly images with cymbals, strings & celeste while British vocalist Louise Golbey sings a soulful lullaby about love. We know already that the car is high tech & new so we don’t need an electronic tune or modern film score. What we want is to feel something. So what we have tried to do is to make this an emotional experience that is both modern & nostalgic, surprising & trusted, contrasting & immersive. |
