The Ballroom scene has been a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPoC communities for decades. Thirty years after the premiere of "Paris is Burning", it is more alive than ever, with new ideas that bet on a greater diversity and less binarism, with the same explosion of colors, effects and performances as always. Leo Adef spent a week in Berlin portraying the local Ballroom members. |
