| Short Synopsis: | In a film by French director Thomas Gerard, painter Alexis Ralaivao unveils a new series of black-and-white works. By limiting himself to a reduced palette of tones, he sharpens his focus on composition, light, and shadow. Now back in his hometown of Rennes after several years abroad, Alexis welcomes us into his new studio. After spending several days alongside the artist, the director presents a 16mm film in two acts. |
