Short Synopsis:	If you want to dive into a legitimately Brazilian story, Deságue is a great opportunity. Made on film, Pedro Perdigão's film swims through the waters of the São Francisco River, between Alagoas and Sergipe (Brazilian northern states), where the exuberant nature of the region serves as a backdrop for a plot rooted in Brazilian folklore, myths and mysteries. Narrating the journey of two fishermen whose lives are intertwined by a mythical figure, the work deals with themes that are embedded in the fabric of national culture.
