DEAR PANCREAS is dedicated to my own organ that decided to stop working: my pancreas. RINA’s story of living with type 1 diabetes is my story. It is also the story of many people working on this film, who are affected by type 1 diabetes or another invisible autoimmune condition. This is a community project raising awareness, fighting against stigmatization, uniting powers, and giving hope to everyone struggling with the same thoughts as us.
