| Short Synopsis: | Returning to the Catalan countryside, director Irene Baqué reflects on a time when summer seemed endless, and the simple rituals offered solace from the monotony. Through the lens of a 16mm camera and with her own family as the subjects, Can Carreras invites us on a nostalgic and dreamy journey, filled with fond memories that may have been tinged with a touch of idealization, set in a surreal space where time stands still. In its understated charm, the film beautifully captures the essence of family life during the summer — a fleeting moment when families come together in the mundane of everyday life at home, revealing the poetry in simplicity. |
