| Short Synopsis: | FLOWERS is an afro-futuristic fairytale of love, which follows a ceremony of a son being given away by his mother, to the world, to join his one true love. This whimsical story adopts references to classic Disney stories from the 1930s-50s, modernising tropes with realism for this coming of age tale. This film reclaims the magic of that time we all so familiar with: imagining what a black fairy-tale would look and feel like. |
