Stuckwisch directed Olsen and her partner, Beau Thibodeaux, in a story she describes as “a tale of running over yourself while running from yourself to yourself.” Stuckwisch employed two distinct cinematic approaches, rustic and real in contrast to dreamy nightmare/surreal sequences to capture a duality of existence. The video also gives nods to earlier Olsen videos, including reprising the silver tinsel wig from her “My Woman” music video. |
