Switching between the real world and cyber space, courtesy of location, studio and greeenscreen shoots, the serious theme is wrapped within the conventional framework of a slick, upbeat pop video, powered by Gracey's winning presence.
"We live in a world where we are constantly being watched and observed," comments Burgess. "We are monitored and analysed with the increasing threat of 'cancel culture' if we make one wrong comment. Whether it’s via digital surveillance cameras or our online interactions, it has become impossible to avoid being observed.
"This music video comments on the voyeuristic nature of the world we inhabit, and enters a virtual reality that sees Gracey and Alexander 23 stuck in cyber space. In this futuristic sci-fi world, we can change where we are just 'like that'..."
