|Notes for Judging:||Many harmful products advertise with false promises - we wanted to point that out. That's why we thought it would be good to use the English word "fishy" as an adjective for these deceptive products.
We created a positive advertising world in which our protagonist falls for a "fishy" product that actually makes a fish grow out of his head. The film uses the fish as a metaphor for negative side-effects, caused by harmfull ingredients, to show what consumers will experience if they do not check the products with the codecheck app before buying.
From production design to a full CG fish - everything is this film was done by students from the Filmakademie from 1st to 4th year during regular studies (except make-up and music). Every setting was built and everything about our fish was developed by us.
