Working within local communities in Nepal, the compact team didn't have a fixer or production liaison dedicated to facilitating conversations and ensuring comfort. Instead, it was entirely up to the crew members themselves to approach the local communities with great delicacy and empathy. They successfully navigated these interactions, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment on set for everyone involved. This personal approach not only streamlined the production process but also fostered genuine connections, allowing the team to capture the real stories of reconstructive surgery with respect and authenticity.
