| Short Synopsis: | The ongoing short film series, divided into chapters, "EUPHORIA: Chapter 1" and "VOID: Chapter 2", was created through a purely improvisational approach. There were and are no scripts, pre-developed story elements, or meticulously planned camera setups. Instead, each chapter emerges from the spontaneous, unfiltered collaboration of all participants—driven by creative openness and the synergy of artistic spontaneity. Throughout this process, the characters and narratives evolved organically, gradually shaping the overall structure of this serialized storytelling format. A key objective in the realization of these films was for the director to provide an authentic glimpse into the lives of the two protagonists. These glimpses can portray singular events, extended periods of time, deeply emotional and existential moments, or pivotal life changes. The story unfolds throughout the production process, with acting and cinematography engaging in a fluid, dynamic dialogue. In post-production, the director's focus was on granting maximum creative freedom to every department—music, sound design, editing and color grading. Rather than dictating specific directions as a director, his goal was to foster the creative potential of all involved and allow their individual artistic signatures to shape the final film. A central ambition is to continue this serialized format, using multiple episodes to explore various events in the protagonists' lives. The audience is free to choose whether to follow the episodes as an ongoing narrative or to experience them as standalone pieces—each episode functions independently while also contributing seamlessly to the overarching story. Currently, Matt developing a screenplay for a feature-length scripted film based on these two characters, expanding and deepening the narrative established so far. |
