| Short Synopsis: |
Director Jason Bock explores physical and psychological transformation through dance with African-French movement and contortion artist Strauss Serpent. In a haunting visual, accompanying Australian duo Movement’s track Lace, Bock delivers a visceral, atmospheric scene set in a crumbling Romanian factory, as an All Hallows Eve encounter drives Serpent into raw, contorted movement. Undergoing a terrifying metamorphosis, his body becomes the medium for a surreal unraveling – journeying into fear, identity, and change through the language of movement and mood. |
