Home Movie - a film for Carter Young - evokes the nostalgia of celebrating freedom, rebellion, friendship, and the cherished moments of youth. It captures the essence of simple moments - wind blowing through hair as you bike, laying in the grass listening to nature, sneaking out of school to smoke with friends, early romance, partying, letting loose, and saying goodbye. Each frame was captured in slow-motion and deliberately still to enhance the idea of snapshots, pictures that try to let the viewer imprint their own experience and nostalgia onto them. |
