| Short Synopsis: |
Like a Fish is a short film that highlights the dangers that refugee children face when crossing the Mediterranean. The film begins with an idyllic beach setting in which a father teaches his son to swim ‘like a fish’. But the father's encouragement turns into a harrowing survival strategy when the boy suddenly finds himself adrift alone in the open sea - desperately struggling to reach safety with nothing but a lifejacket. The initially playful lesson becomes a moving testimony to the fragility and hope of these children. |
