"It Was Always There" is a piece born from a simple realization. The ballet barre isn’t just in the studio, it’s everywhere. We see it in the metro, on staircases, even on bicycles. It’s something we’ve always leaned on, something that’s quietly supported us. With this film for Concept Barre, we wanted to make the barre feel familiar, approachable, less like an exclusive tool for dancers and more like something that’s been part of our lives all along. Because in the end, it was always there, guiding us, lifting us, just like it does in movement. |
