LOOSE follows up the superb live visual for Fred Again..'s collaboration with Lil Yachty with an equally impressive document of the producer's encounter with Anderson Paak for ‘Places To Be’. This intimate and intense jam session was shot in one take in sun-soaked Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, and there is a delightful sense of capturing magic in a bottle, as both artists do their stuff. With the pair enthusiastically jumping between instruments - including two drum kits - it's a brilliant job of camerawork throughout. And then the natural magic in the room is elevated further when its revealed that Anderson's drum kit is on a platform that rotates, and he performs a 360˚ drum solo. |
