| Short Synopsis: |
The film starts with customers at a supermarket struggling to reach the affordable goods positioned in the bottom shelves. The low angle camera is flying across the floor past feet and wobbly shopping carts straight through a bottom shelve into the suffering face of a customer. Judgy looks by the staff and other shopping people hit the clients. The music starts and we see the bending protagonists lip-sync to our track „Get, get down“. Gradually more and more fast-paced moves are added, charging the theme in a more striking, rhythmic and non-linear way. From a crazy atmosphere with multiple fast cuts and people in weird positions we cut to the relaxing calm of an ALDI Sued store, where customers do their weekly shopping with dignity and uprightness. Very down-to-earth and typical for Aldi. Life has its pitfalls. But why always bend over backwards to get what you want? |
