| Short Synopsis: |
This film is a love letter to the 9 million pancreases worldwide that have stopped working. In the film, we follow Rina's story as she lives with type 1 diabetes, battling fights no one can see. Juggling her daily struggles from childhood to adulthood, affected and held back by her chronic autoimmune condition. As she gets older, she gets stronger and realizes her power and strength. "Dear Pancreas" is a film raising awareness and giving hope to those living with invisible illnesses.
