Short Synopsis: Betclic, the leading sports betting company, rolls out its new advertising campaign signed Marcel and produced by Quad. In a departure from sports betting codes, the film "L'onde" (The Wave), directed by Bruno Aveillan and featuring a spectacular visual narrative, is an intense embodiment of the brand's promise to make people experience sport more intensely. Like a swell on the sea, a wave progresses from the countryside to the cities, undulating roads and ground. On its way, the wave lifts two passengers on a bus, a young woman in a bar, a mechanic in his garage, or a young woman in the street, all exploding with joy, until it returns to its starting point: the impact of a ball on the ground behind the goal line at a soccer match. This wave is the emotion felt at that moment, which only sport can offer, and which spreads from the stadium for miles around, touching fans and spectators alike, and with even greater intensity the bettors and punters. The one-minute film, whose visual metaphor is all the more spectacular and surprising for being told in reverse, humorously draws us into this positive wave to the steady beat of the classic Peer Gynt song, re-orchestrated.
