| Short Synopsis: | The film tells the story of familial transmission from generation to generation. It's a tale of those ordinary violences that are passed down unwittingly, often disguised as education, for the supposed benefit of children. And if violence is encoded in our DNA, why wouldn't it be seen as a physical characteristic? This metaphorical "big hand," representing ordinary educational violence, is seen being passed down from generation to generation. This is what the film depicts: the internal struggle of a man between what he endured and what he will decide to pass on when he becomes a father himself. A message appears: "Don’t let violence be part of your story. We can help you at StopVEO.org". |
