| Short Synopsis: | Wait on Me is a dark love story set inside a dystopian prison in an alternate Tehran. As Kiana and Lou long for a lost love and the prison guard keeps them apart, Kiana must find a way to fight for their freedom. The story pays homage to the real life Iranian couple who were arrested and sentenced to 10 years in jail for a published video of the two dancing in front of Tehran's Freedom tower, as an act of defiance within the ongoing Woman Life Freedom movement. |
