Short Synopsis:	The way we are taught to view and value ourselves as children affects the way we view ourselves as adults. Negative childhood experiences often stay with us well into adulthood. With this film I was interested in exposing the ways we, as a society, inadvertently expose children and teenagers to damaging body ideals. I wanted to raise awareness about the small everyday experiences that can shape the way a child learns about what’s seen as “attractive” and “unattractive”, for example, in order to encourage viewers to question the ways we are contributing to our cultural obsession with body image. - Fiona Jane Burgess
