| Short Synopsis: | Born in one of the largest favelas in São Paulo, rapper Kayode felt the consequences of having dark skin in Brazil. Kayode’s new music video “Flow da Pele” reflects structural racism, police abuse, and injustices committed against black and peripheral people. Kayode seeks to exalt black pride and its achievements through African sound and religious signs, rescuing ancestral values. |
